Welcome to EcoCruz, the Santa Cruz County environmental web portal. We are fortunate in our area to have numerous organizations working on environmental protection, but we have so many it can be a challenge to find which one has the information you need.

This site is designed to link you to information, organizations and events that can help you become a steward of our environment and improve the sustainability of Santa Cruz County and the Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary.

On EcoCruz you can find out how to green your home or your business, learn about environmental events in Santa Cruz and connect to others working on environmental, climate and ecology issues in our community.  EcoCruz is the premier go-to site for making connections – to people, to places and to knowledge.

Who We Are

The EcoCruz website is maintained by a large collaboration of government agencies and local environmental non-profit organizations. This online tool has been designed to assist Santa Cruz area residents, educators, and business owners in identifying local environmental organizations and programs and is intended to function primarily as a portal to member organizations.

EcoCruz is made available to the public in large part due to our strong technical team.  The website was developed using Joomla by iKorb and is hosted by Cruzio, two outstanding local companies.
